Monastery Ostrog

Monastery Ostrog’s spectacular location set high in the cliff face above a vast valley, has been attracting visitors and pilgrims for over 300 years from all corners of the globe. Enjoy a guided tour to the lower and upper monastery, in which St. Vasilija Ostroskog remains have been preserved, since his death in 1671.
After visiting monastery complex, take a break in the nearby village of Bogetici for lunch.

On the journey back to the coast we will stop at the cave which resembles a cross, to visit the monastery of Dajbabe – a sanctuary for rest and peace.
